Viewpost Receives 2017 CSO50 Award From Leading Security Resource Publisher

This year’s win of the prestigious security award marks the fourth time in three consecutive years that our Security Team has been recognized for their inventive diligence.

We’re proud to be named an honoree of a 2017 CSO50 Award from IDG’s CSO. This prestigious honor is granted to a select group of organizations that have demonstrated that their security projects and initiatives have created outstanding business value and thought leadership for their companies.

Viewpost is being recognized with this award for a proprietary financial crime risk analysis and detection system called Cagey. The Viewpost security, fraud and financial crimes teams hand-developed software that analyzes customers based on their risk and other exclusive markers and displays the data in a unique method, allowing the teams to more closely monitor the platform. The Cagey system produces financial crime insight mapping and reputational ranking that enables Viewpost analysts and teams to distinguish between good customers and others in an iterative fashion. Key to team success is the software’s collaborative approach and platform that unites several historically-siloed disciplines into a cross-functional team that can monitor and take action from a single dashboard.

“I am extremely proud of our team’s ability to conceive, design, develop and implement this very unique Financial Crime analysis engine, monitoring tool, and mind-mapping software in-house. With increases in automation and decision intelligence, Regulatory Technology (RegTech) has become an area ripe for disruption especially where technology brings together teams to collaborate on a unified platform. This recognition from CSO is validation that our company’s entrepreneurial DNA, no matter how we apply it, is invaluable to our business.”

– Dr. Christopher Pierson, EVP, Chief Security Officer and General Counsel, Viewpost

Viewpost will accept its award at the CSO50 Conference + Awards held May 1–3, 2017, at the Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona. Viewpost also congratulates the other 49 honorees on their 2017 CSO50 Award.

“Security and compliance are primary elements of Viewpost’s foundation, and our teams continuously strive to over deliver in that regard. Being recognized three consecutive years in a row by a highly-respected panel of judges is testament to the rigor our teams bring to B2B transactional efficiency and soundness.”

– Max Eliscu, CEO, Viewpost

The prestigious list of honorees from this year and previous years includes AT&T, Blackstone, BNY Mellon, Centura Health, Citi, The Clorox Company, FedEx, GoDaddy, Hershey Company, Kimberly-Clark Corporation, MasterCard, Monsanto, Rapid7, TransUnion, USAA, and Voya Financial.

“The stakes have never been higher when it comes to protecting an organization’s sensitive data from criminals and breach. Security leaders are expected to not only deliver protection, but also to drive business initiatives. Our annual CSO50 awards recognize security projects that enhance defense and also deliver ROI.”

– Joan Godchild, editor-in-chief, CSO
